The County of Salem has contracted South State Inc. to complete roadway improvements on the following roadways in Upper Pittsgrove & Alloway Townships.
- Bridgeton Road, from Daretown Road to Pole Tavern Road
Construction include milling and paving of surface course asphalt, along with safety improvements.
Work will be performed with detours and lane shifts. Please be aware of the changing traffic control; follow the posted detour when this condition exists. During construction hours, we kindly request that residents keep their cars out of the area of operations.
Construction is scheduled to begin on or about Monday, December 8th, 2025. Work hours will be from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday.
Residents will have limited access to their driveways; Emergency vehicles will be permitted through. Please use caution while traveling through the work zone for your protection and our workers. South State would kindly ask residents to mark sprinkler lines and heads. Any damage to unmarked sprinkler lines or heads will not be the responsibility of South State.
