Notice is hereby given that the Salem County Office on Aging and Disabilities is accepting sealed proposals for the period commencing March 1, 2022 with two (2) one-year renewable options at the discretion of the County, subject to the availability of funds and to the continuing satisfactory performance by the provider of service for Older Americans Act (Area Plan Grant) funds to Salem County residents for the 2022-2024 Area Plan Grant. The following services have been established as priorities:
Certified Home Health Aide
Adult Day Services – Medical
Caregiver Adult Day Services – Medical
Proposals packets will be available on Thursday, December 30, 2022 at the County of Salem Purchasing Department, Fifth Street Office Complex, 110 Fifth Street, Suite 400, Salem, New Jersey 08079 during regular business hours of 8:30 am to 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday excluding holidays. Potential applicants may request a Proposal Packet in writing or in person by calling the County of Salem Purchasing Department at 856-935-7510, extension 8401 or by email to .
Proposals shall be enclosed in sealed envelopes with the outermost envelope bearing the legend, “Proposal for Providing Services and Programs for Salem County Senior Residents 60 Years of Age or Older and Limited Disabled Residents” on the outside. The proposals shall be returned to the Salem County Purchasing Agent no later than Tuesday, February 1, 2022 at 11:00 A.M. prevailing time, when they will be opened and read in public. Late proposals will not be considered. Submission of a proposal does not guarantee funding.
