The Public Works Committee of the Salem County Board of County Commissioners invites sealed Proposals and Qualifications for Professional Services for Design of Stormwater Management Improvements for Auburn Road, County Road #602 for the County of Salem.

A “Request  for  Proposal  and  Qualifications” (RFP/RFQ) document may be obtained daily between 8:30 AM and 4:30 PM from the  Salem  County  Engineer’s Office, Fifth  Street  Complex, 110  Fifth  Street,  Suite  600,  Salem, New Jersey 08079, it can be mailed on telephone request to (856) 935-7510, extension 8534 or e-mail request to .

This “Request for Proposal and Qualifications” (RFP/RFQ) document is official notification of needed professional services. This RFP/RFQ is being issued to solicit a Proposal from firms qualified to perform design and permitting of stormwater management improvements.   A submittal does not guarantee that the firm will be contracted to perform any services but only serves notice that the firm desires to be considered.

Proposals shall be made in the manner prescribed.  The Proposal shall be enclosed in a sealed envelope bearing the legend, PROPOSAL and QUALIFICATIONS for Professional Services for Design of Stormwater Management Improvements for Auburn Road, County Road #602 for the County of Salem on the outside.  The Proposal shall be returned to the Salem County Engineer’s Office on or before 11:00 AM prevailing time on Wednesday,­ October 23, 2024. The Proposals will be opened by the County Engineer.  Late Proposals will not be considered.

Salem County, in accordance with the provisions of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (78 Stat. 252, 42 U.S.C. §§ 2000d to 2000d-4) and the Regulations, “hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively ensure that any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, disadvantaged business enterprises will be afforded full and fair opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, or national origin in consideration for an award.”

This proposal is being solicited through a “Fair and Open” process in accordance the N.J.S.A. 19:44A-20.4 et seq.  Firms are required to comply with the requirements of P.L. 1975, C. 127 (NJAC 17:27, et seq) Affirmative Action and P.L. 1977, C.33 (N.J.S.A. 52:25-24.2) Corporate Disclosure. Firms must abide by the New Jersey Prevailing Wage Act, P.L. 1963, Chapter 150.
