Notice is hereby given that sealed proposals for competitive contracting, not subject to public bidding pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40A:11-4.1 will be received by the County Purchasing Agent of the County of Salem. The following services have been established as priorities:

Proposal for Providing On-Site Food Services and Food Service Management for the Salem County Correctional Facility

Specifications may be obtained daily between 9:00 AM and 4:00 PM from the Salem County Purchasing Department, Fifth Street Office Complex, and 110 Fifth Street, Suite 400, Salem, New Jersey 08079
or they may be mailed on telephone request (856) 935-7510, extension 8401 or e-mail request to purchasing@salemcountynj.gov.

Responses shall be made on the forms and submitted in the manner designated within the specifications. They shall be enclosed in sealed envelopes bearing the legend, “Proposal for Providing On-Site Food Services and Food Service Management for the Salem County Correctional Facility” on the outermost package. The proposals shall be returned to the Salem County Purchasing Department 110 5th Street, Salem, NJ 08079 no later than Friday, September 13, 2019 at 2:00 PM, prevailing time, when they will be opened and read in public at Salem County Fifth Street Complex, 110 Fifth Street,

Conference Room 105, Salem, NJ 08079. Late bids will not be considered.

A Non-Mandatory Pre-Proposal Submission Conference will be held at the Salem County Correctional Facility, 125 Cemetery Road, Woodstown, NJ 08098, on Monday, September 9, 2019 at 9:30 AM prevailing time. Following the conference there will be a tour and inspection of the project site including the kitchen and food service-related equipment.

Bidders are required to comply with requirements of NJSA 10:5-31 et seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27 regarding Equal Employment Opportunity Laws and regulations.

Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of P.L. 1975, C. 127 (N.J.A.C. 17:27) Affirmative Action and P.L. 1977, C. 33 (N.J.S.A. 52-25-24.2) Corporate Disclosure.
