Notice is hereby given that the Salem County Office on Aging and Disabilities will conduct a Public Hearing for the purpose of soliciting comments on the proposed 2021 contract with NJ Transit on the use of funds provided under the Senior Citizens and Disabled Residents Transportation Assistance Act and Rural Area Public Transportation (5311).
The Public Hearing will be held Wednesday, October 14, 2020 at 2:30 pm by Zoom/Audio. Individuals who may have questions regarding the Zoom/Audio Meeting are encouraged to call Salem County Office on Aging and Disabilities at 856-339-8622.

SCOOT Transportation Goals – 2021 Casino/5311 Application
- To have cameras installed on all the SCOOT buses to provide oversight and ensure clients are social distancing on the vehicles and adhering to all safety guidelines.
- To train one additional staff member in our department to complete monthly and quarterly reports.
- To increase outreach effort so that riders, and potential riders, are aware that they have access to grocery stores and food banks.
