The County of Salem has contracted with “South State. Inc.” under our 2021 County Aid Road Improvement Program for Resurfacing and Safety improvements for the following roads throughout Salem County.

  • JERICHO ROAD, County Road #626 (from approx. 900 LF before Harmersville—Pecks Corner Road. County Road #667, intersection to the Salem County/Cumberland County Line) in the Townships of Quinton and Lower Alloways Creek;
  • HARMERSVILLE—PECKS CORNER ROAD. County Road #667 (from approx. 900 LF before the Jericho Road, County Road #626 intersection to approx. 900 LF atter the intersection) in Quinton Township;
  • EAST LINE STREET, Coun Road #641 (from North Broad Street, ounty Road #607 to Virginia Avenue. US. Route #130) in Carneys Point Township and the Borough of Penns Grove;
  • ELM STREET, County Road #602 (from North Main Street. NJ Route #45 to East Avenue, U.S. Route #40) in the Borough of Woodstown;
  • DUTCH ROW ROAD. County Road #611 (from Centerton Road, County Road #611 to Harding Highway, U.S. Route #40) in Pittsgrove Township; and
  • CENTERTON ROAD, County Road #610 & County Road #611 (from South Main Street. County Road #648 to approx. 300 LF before Buck Road. County Road #553) in the Borough of Elmer and Pittsgrove Township.

The “Notice to Proceed” has been issued to the Contractor as follows: October 28. 2024 – Begin site work. Contract duration – 90 calendar days.
