Notice is hereby given that the Public Works Committee of the Board of Chosen Freeholders of the County of Salem will receive sealed Bids for the “FY 2017 MILL AND OVERLAY RESURFACING PROGRAM NEW BRIDGE ROAD, COUNTY ROAD #623 IN LOWER ALLOWAYS CREEK TOWNSHIP AND WATSONS MILL ROAD, COUNTY ROAD #672 IN ALLOWAY TOWNSHIP FOR THE COUNTY OF SALEM, NJDOT JOB #7101315” in accordance with the Plans and Specifications therefore.

Plans and Specifications for this Project are on file in the Office of the Salem County Engineer, and may be inspected during regular business hours. Copies of the Plans and Specifications will be forwarded upon proper request to the Engineer.

Bids must be submitted on standard proposal forms in the manner designated within the Specifications. Bids must be submitted in sealed envelopes bearing the name and address of the Bidder on the outside along with  the Project  being  Bid.  Bids will be opened and read in public in the SALEM COUNTY ENGINEER’S OFFICE, 110 FIFTH STREET, SUITE 600, SALEM, NEW JERSEY 08079, on WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 21, 2019 at 11:00 AM, prevailing time. All Bids must be received on or before the scheduled time.  Not responsible for late delivery of Bids. Bids must be accompanied by a CERTIFIED CHECK for TEN PERCENT (10%) of the amount Bid or an acceptable BID BOND. A CONSENT OF SURETY from an approved Surety Company must also be submitted with the Bid.

Suppliers are hereby put on notice that Prevailing Wage Rates Chapter 150; and Chapter 33 of Public Laws of 1977 will be enforced in this Contract.  Bidders are required to comply with the requirements P.L. 1975 c. 127.  Right is reserved to reject any or all Bids received and to limit purchases to funds available.
