Ashley Digerness and Bob Howell, Health & Human Services - Environmental Division employees, while making inspections, noticed smoke coming from a row of houses. When they were closer, they noticed a wooden carport on fire. They called 911 and the someone from the home came out. Ashley and Bob helped throw water on the carport to stop the spread of the fire until the Fire Department arrived.

Must have a valid driver’s license & reliable transportation.
Completed High school diploma/GED.
Working knowledge of cellular/paging/PCS/advanced wireless communication preferred.
Bilingual in Spanish as well as English strongly preferred.
Must be able to stand for long periods of time (up to 9 hours) on the sales floor.
Must be able to move and/or lift up to 25 pound.
Must be able to pass background check.

Their K9 handlers Sgt. Hans, Officer Todd, and Officer Warren were on hand as their faithful partners received appreciation certificates. We know the Sheriff's remaining 5 K9 Officers will continue the tradition of serving our County in cases of explosive detection, patrol/ narcotic, and at the Correctional facility.
