Salem County was awarded $3 Million for the Salem County Short Line Railroad Port Area Improvements!

We want to acknowledge Senate President Steve Sweeney, Assemblymen Burzichelli, and Taliaferro, Freeholder Director Bob Vanderslice, Deputy Director Ben Laury, Freeholder Lee Ware, Ray Owens, and our Engineer's Office, who have all been instrumental to see this project come to fruition.

Freeholder Director Vanderslice also would like to thank the prior efforts of Freeholder Beth Timberman. The completion of the Railroad is extremely important to those businesses who are looking for rail and port access, as well as, roadway access. We will continue to update the process of the railroad completion.

They not only showed their own animal, but all the other animals as well which included a dairy animal, beef steer, sheep, goat, horse, and market hog.
