Ben Laury, Deputy Freeholder Director, announced a road ground breaking and future sign unveiling of Veterans Court on Saturday, October 10th at 10:00 am, at the Gateway Business Park in Oldmans Township.

“The naming of Veterans Court is a tribute to our community Veterans who selflessly served in the United States Armed Forces, both home and abroad to protect our freedoms. Naming this roadway serves as a lasting memory honoring all our Veterans, both living and deceased, as heroic members of our community who honorably served our country,” said Deputy Freeholder Director Ben Laury.

Veterans Court will be located at the end of the cul-de-sac of Gateway Boulevard, approximately 2500 feet West of Straughens Mill Road in Oldmans Township.

Salem County Veterans, their families, and those who support them are encouraged to attend. The event will be held rain or shine. Julie Acton, Freeholder Director stated, “We invite everyone to attend this ground breaking as it celebrates our community Veterans and honoring their bravery and service to our Country. We express our sincere appreciation and gratitude to all Veterans for their service and sacrifices. All who pass will always be reminded of our Veterans and their service to ensure the continued promise of the freedoms we enjoy every day.”
