The Salem County Purchasing Agent invites sealed bids to remove existing windows and window jambs and to provide, furnish, and install windows at the Salem County Correctional Facility.
Specifications may be obtained daily between 8:30 AM and 4:30 PM from the Salem County Purchasing Department, Salem County Administration Building, 94 Market Street, Salem, New Jersey, 08079 or they will be mailed on telephone request (856) 935-7510, Extension 8401.
Bids shall be made on the standard bid forms and submitted in the manner designated within the Specifications. They shall be enclosed in sealed envelopes bearing the legend, “Bid to Remove Existing Windows and Window Jambs and to provide, Furnish, and Install Windows at the Salem County Correctional Facility” on the outside. The bids shall be returned to the Salem County Purchasing Agent by Tuesday, October 29, 2013, 2:00 P.M. prevailing time, when they will be opened and read in public. Late bids will not be considered.
A pre-bid conference/tour shall be held on Tuesday, October 22, 2013, commencing at 9:00 AM at the Salem County Correctional Facility. This pre-bid meeting shall be followed by a tour of the service location listed herein. Perspective bidders are advised that attendance is highly recommended.
Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of P.L. 1975, c. 127 (N.J.A.C. 17:27) Affirmative Action and P.L. 1977, c. 33 (N.J.S.A. 52:25-24.2) Corporate Disclosure.
