The Salem County Purchasing Agent invites sealed bids for modernizing the existing Elevator located at the Salem County Courthouse.
Specifications may be obtained daily between 8:30 AM and 4:30 PM from the Salem County Purchasing Department, Salem County Administration Building, 94 Market Street, Salem, New Jersey, 08079 or they will be mailed on telephone request (856) 935-7510, Extension 8401.
Bids shall be made on the standard bid forms and submitted in the manner designated within the Specifications. They shall be enclosed in sealed envelopes bearing the legend, “Bid to Modernize the Salem County Courthouse Elevator” on the outside. The bids shall be returned to the Salem County Purchasing Agent by Thursday, November 7, 2013, 2:00 P.M. prevailing time, when they will be opened and read in public. Late bids will not be considered.
A pre bid conference/tour shall be held on Tuesday, October 29, 2013 commencing at 9:00 AM in the Salem County Facilities Management Office, Salem County Courthouse, 92 Market Street, Salem, NJ 08079. This pre bid meeting shall be followed by a tour of the service location listed herein. Perspective bidders are advised that attendance is highly recommended.
Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of P.L. 1975, c. 127 (N.J.A.C. 17:27) Affirmative Action and P.L. 1977, c. 33 (N.J.S.A. 52:25-24.2) Corporate Disclosure.
