The Salem County Bookmobile Library is a free public library service for all residents of our county. The library is open Monday-Thursday 10:00am to 5:00pm. Due to a budget reduction, the Friday hours have been reduced to 10 am -12 noon.  The afternoon hours will be restored as soon as we can raise funds to provide staffing.

Rocky’s Reading Challenge
Come to the bookmobile library soon to get started on ”Rocky’s Reading Challenge”. Read 10 books by July 24 and return your reading list to the library to win 2 free tickets to the Wilmington Blue Rocks game. FAMILY FUN !!

Reading easy books to younger kids can count for up to four of your 10 books - it’s important for big kids to show little kids how much fun reading can be. Helping out at summer reading on Wednesdays can also help toward your 10 books.  It’s all fun!

Kid’s “Craft-ernoon” 
The children’s summer reading program will be on Wednesday afternoons at 1pm, beginning on July 1. A free program of books, crafts, games and snacks for children of all ages.

Book Discussion Group
Our book discussion group meets on the last Friday afternoons once a month at 2pm. The June meeting will be on June 19 - the book is ”Someplace safe with somebody good” by Jan Karon. Call 856-769-1082 for Information
