Welcome to the Residents and Friends of Salem County,

It is my honor to lead the community as your Freeholder Director.  My goal is to serve the taxpayers of Salem County in the most effective, efficient, and responsive way possible.  Our Salem County website is designed to bring you up-to-date information about the workings of our County government, offer you contact information when you would like to reach out, and act as a tool for transparency of the operation of County government.

I want this Freeholder Board to gain the public's trust in our operations and encourage your involvement in your County government.  I invite you to attend our pre-meeting workshops held two hours prior to each scheduled Freeholder meeting.  The workshops will provide a forum of all seven freeholders to review proposals, discuss policy and conduct research, and properly plan for the future of Salem County.  The meetings will ensure that all freeholders and the public have an opportunity to understand proposals before official action is taken.  This is a new approach to conducting our County's business; I am encouraged by the opportunities this approach presents!
