The Salem County Purchasing Agent invites sealed bids for supplying, delivering and installing a salt storage fabric building for the County of Salem. Specifications may be obtained daily between 8:30 AM and 4:30 PM from the Salem County Purchasing Department, Salem County Administration Building, 94 Market Street, Salem, New Jersey, 08079 or they will be mailed on telephone request (856) 935-7510, Extension 8401.
Bids shall be made on the standard bid forms and submitted in the manner designated within the Specifications. They shall be enclosed in sealed envelopes bearing the legend, “Bid for Supplying, Delivering and Installing a Salt Storage Fabric Building for the County of Salem” on the outside. The bids shall be returned to the Salem County Purchasing Agent by Wednesday, December 16, 2015, 2:00 P.M. prevailing time, when they will be opened and read in public. Late bids will not be considered.
A pre-bid meeting shall be held on December 8, 2015, commencing at 9:00 AM at the project site located at Block 3, Lot 2.01 in Elmer, New Jersey; near the intersection of Pine Tavern Road and Richwood Road. This pre-bid meeting shall be followed by a tour of the project site. Perspective bidders are advised that attendance is highly recommended. Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of P.L. 1975, c. 127 (N.J.A.C. 17:27) Affirmative Action and P.L. 1977, c. 33 (N.J.S.A. 52:25-24.2) Corporate Disclosure.
