The Salem County Purchasing Agent invites sealed bids for Providing Food Services for the Salem County Correctional Facility.

Specifications may be obtained daily between 8:30 AM and 4:30 PM from the Salem County Purchasing Department, Salem County Administration Building, 94 Market Street, Salem, New Jersey, 08079 or they will be mailed on telephone request (856) 935-7510, Extension 8401.

Bids shall be made on the standard bid forms and submitted in the manner designated within the Specifications. They shall be enclosed in sealed envelopes bearing the legend, “Bid for Providing Food Services” on the outside. The bids shall be returned to the Salem County Purchasing Agent by Wednesday, September 3, 2014, 2:00 P.M. prevailing time, when they will be opened and read in public. Late bids will not be considered.

A pre-bid conference/tour shall be held on Wednesday, August 13, 2014, commencing at 9:00 AM, prevailing time at the Salem County Correctional Facility, 125 Cemetery Road, Woodstown, NJ 08098. This pre-bid meeting shall be followed by a tour of the service location listed herein. Prospective bidders are advised that attendance is highly recommended.

Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of P.L. 1975, c. 127 (N.J.A.C. 17:27) Affirmative Action and P.L. 1977, c. 33 (N.J.S.A. 52:25-24.2) Corporate Disclosure.
