PST Stephen Turner, Sheriff's Office, received the "2014 Forrest Eichmann Public Safety Telecommunicator Award" at the Salem County Police Chief Award Ceremony.

PST Turner is a stellar employee who has superior radio system knowledge that was extremely beneficial for the recent radio system project where they reprogrammed approximately 1,200 emergency radios county-wide. The project took six months to complete and entailed traveling to each fire, EMS, and police agency. He also assisted with the console radio replacement project and the phasing out Motorola console radios and replacing them with the new Telex radios. He is relied upon on numerous occasions to fix glitches in the radio system and provides assistance to the first responders in the field. The Forrest Eichmann award is very fitting for Steve Turner because Like Mr. Eichmann, Steve is not intimidated to take on any project for the good of the team. He works well with anyone to achieve a common goal, and he always represents our Communications Division in a very professional manner. He, like Mr. Eichmann, is very dedicated to volunteerism.

CONGRATULATIONS TO PST. STEPHEN TURNER. He is pictured with fellow PST's.
