Good afternoon, my name is Trisha Pitcher and I am with NJ Audubon. We have been working with farmers and landowners in Salem County along with NRCS to give out grants for conservation practices dealing with clean water and healthy soils. One of the practices we implement are riparian buffers, we did a riparian buffer on Seabrook Farms in Mannington Township where we planted over 2,000 trees that will eventually grow into a forest that is open to the public. We are doing another riparian buffer planting in December and are looking for volunteers to assist. We will be planting Friday, Saturday and Sunday. I have attached a flyer and media alert for more information. If you could pass this along I would really appreciate that as we could really use the help! The trees are small bare root plants so easy to plant making this a family friendly event but we have over 1,000 to plant! Thank you so much for your time, have a great day! -- Trisha Pitcher Stewardship Technician - South Region New Jersey Audubon Society 600 Route 47 North Cape May Court House, NJ 08210 Phone: 609-861-1608 ext. 28
