The Salem County Board of Chosen Freeholders gave the "State of County Address" on January 28. The Freeholders utilized a visual of a puzzle. Each puzzle piece represented the Freeholders respective committee and was added to the board as they spoke, each will be posted. The final piece to be added was the Salem County Seal. A member from the audience, Brenda Goins, added to the final puzzle piece to the board. "The Salem County Seal represents you, our citizens of Salem County. Did You Know Series.... What is the County TRIAD Meeting?

The Salem County Sheriff's Office began the TRIAD quarterly meetings in 2009. The meetings are held for Salem County Seniors 55 years and older. These meetings are an opportunity for attendees to enjoy a lunch, socialize, and hear a presentation on senior related topics. The next TRIAD meeting will be held on March 16 at the FOP located on Route 49 in Pennsville. Please call 935-7510, Ext. 8595 to register to attend, join TRIAD, or volunteer at the luncheon meetings. Code Blue in Salem County is a coalition of many individuals and agencies working together to provide temporary designated "warming centers" for homeless individuals when temperatures drop dangerously low or frozen precipitation is expected during the overnight hours.
